Looking for a mini to use with my home theater. Mostly for .avi/.mkv playback. Intel only, combo drive is fine. Ram/HD unimportant, as I have plenty of ram and will be using an external.

My time Capsule is full of old accounts and computers and I want to backup my macbook pro but don't know the best way to go about it. I run a small business network and the time capsule backs up 3 iMacs and one mac mini.
My mbp has a new harddrive and new profile (ie the home folder's name has been changed) but a lot of old data on the TC is the same as the mbp - so I don't want to delete it.
Can anyone advise please? Don't want to make a mistake that proves foolish later.

No, again, Apple can't stop them from selling the iPad. But it does mean that the iPads TJ Maxx is getting aren't being acquired directly from Apple. It means that they are buying them from a 3rd party. All Apple COULD do is terminate the 3rd party's Apple account (meaning that the 3rd party can no longer purchase directly from Apple) if they want to (if it was a large enough sale to TJ Maxx...80 iPads probably won't matter to Apple). An "Apple approved" retailer is one that has been authorized by Apple to buy Apple products directly from Apple, and thereby get all of the advertising perks, merchandising, etc from Apple.

If you have logic it has a tuner plugin. Garage band might, if not you could use google and find a 3rd party one, I'm sure there would be a free one out there.

The arcade games are still quite playable. I find the 2600 games to be very hard to enjoy 30 years later as much as originally. They just don't hold up.

yeah you gotta have xeon processors. but still, you can overclock them! you can put out over 130,000 ppd with one machine!
That's crazy PPD. I need to see if I can find a mobo with dual non-xeon i7 sockets. Do they even make one and would be cool if I could use my 920 along with my 950 in the same box.

Well, I'm paying 20� a year for a service in which I have unlimited e-mail addresses, unlimited bandwidth, .net -domain, unlimited subdomains, SQL, php + cgi and 1 GB of storage etc. That 99� for .Mac doesn't cut it.. Of course I don't have .Mac synchronisation, but I've been doing fine with my bluetooth enabled phone.

You should tell that to my wife who has an Android phone and finds that it doesn't really even seem to be well adapted to phone-related situations. She's constantly having problems with it, particularly with freeze-ups and crashing.
I think it's more truthful to phrase your sentence like this. "Android is a powerful mobile OS that can be shoehorned into many situations but can do none of them very well."
Was it the phone she had issues with or android. It could just be a ***** phone running android. Or android sucks for her. I use android and i have no issues. I use a very cheap android phone at that so i should get plenty of random shutdowns but i never do.
My friend returned his HTC Desire HD and bought the iPhone 4. Android really cannot satisfy many users.

Good, bad, right or wrong, Apple is not going to release any new hardware until it rolls out its "cloud." And after it flips the switch on the cloud, there will be a month or two or three of integrating the cloud into existing hardware before they roll out anything new.

First Christmas present for this year; got it yesterday. It has Tiger which means it isnt compatible with ANYTHING but I should be able to get Leopard soon.
BTW; Does anyone know of any Twitter clients that are compatible with PowerPC 10.4-based Macs? Thankss. :)

I've got a 80GB HD from a PC I parted out. It's a Hitachi Deskstar, 7200rpm SATA drive. It's got a warranty on it until April of but I don't know if it's transferable.
